Enhancement: Usage & Limits

We have updated the Subscription tab to make it easier for you to know about your plan features, benefits, and track usage.

In addition to the Subscription Details section (which includes your plan and payment details), there is a Usage & Limits section now. Usage & Limits lists the number of QR Codes, users, and custom domains your plan supports, along with how many you have used.

Enhancements to the Analytics functionality

Scanova has enhanced its existing Analytics functionality to empower our users with more comprehensive and insightful data analytics capabilities.

In the Analytics as well as Reports tab, we've introduced two new filters: Category and Users, in addition to the existing QR Code and Tags options. This enables you to access more granular-level analytics data and reports.

Additionally, we've increased the duration for retrieving analytics data to 6 months, from the previous 3-month limit. This allows you to instantly access data of a longer time period without the need to generate reports.

Enhancement: Revamped ‘My QR Codes’ page with advanced Search and Filter options

We have enhanced the ‘My QR Codes’ page, elevating its visual appeal and functionality for a better user experience. We have also improved the Search and Filter options, streamlining your ability to find and manage your QR Codes with greater efficiency and precision.

You can now:

  • Search QR Codes by Name, URL hash or QR Code ID
  • Filter QR Codes by Tags, Category, Type, Created By and Time Period of creation

You can access these features via: 

  • My QR Codes > Search

  • My QR Codes > Filter

Note: 'Created By' filter category is only available for Pro and Enterprise plan users.

Enhancement: Now create more visually appealing landing pages

Scanova has now made it easier to create visually attractive landing pages by providing more design options. Now you can change header texts, modify font formatting and edit background colors in various landing page components.

These updates will enhance the following QR Code categories: Product, Event, Wedding, Custom Page, and Coupon QR codes. These formatting improvements have also been included in the Leads List forms.

Enhancement: Bulk Generate QR Codes with Custom Domain

Scanova has now enhanced the Bulk Generation feature with the Add Custom Domain option.

With this new feature, you can now choose and apply a custom domain to each bulk-generated QR code. This will allow you to display your own branding via the added custom domain.

This feature can be accessed via Bulk Operations > New Operation > Generate > Add Custom Domain.

Important Note: This feature is only available to Pro and Enterprise users of Scanova. See Plans & Pricing.

Additionally, Scanova's Analytics integration with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) has been enhanced and now it requires a Secret Key along with the Measurement ID to record analytics in the GA4 dashboard.

Enhancement: Transition to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

As per Google’s announcement, on July 1, 2023, standard Universal Analytics properties will no longer process data and you'll be able to access your Universal Analytics reports for a limited period of time after July 1, 2023.

In response to the announcement, Scanova is now future-ready with its upgraded integration support for Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Learn more about GA4.

You can access this via Analytics > Integration > Setup Google Analytics.

Enhancement: User Mapping in Analytics Data

With Scanova, it’s now possible to know what actions a user has taken when interacting with QR Code and linked Scanova landing pages. 

You can now capture data at the user level and analyze it via a unique tracking ID across multiple features (such as Scan Tracking & Analytics, Lead Generation, Custom Form, and Exact GPS Location). 

This feature can be enabled via Settings > User Tracking > Enable User Tracking.

Enhancement: Search and Export Account Users Data


Scanova has enhanced the Users dashboard with Search &  Export Users Data feature.

You can now export all data associated with users (in CSV) such as the Name, Email Address, Role, Status, Tag Permissions, etc. via the dashboard, making it convenient for you to compile and analyze the data.

This feature can be accessed via the Settings > Users > Export Users Data button.

Additionally, you can now search for a shared user by their name or Email ID via the search option and can check the user's last login date and time via the Status column in the Users table.

Enhancement: Check Status of Bulk Operations

Scanova has now made it possible to view and track the status of your initiated bulk operations using the Operations Tracking table. 

Additionally, please note that you can now initiate the bulk operation (generate, update, or download) via the New Operation tab.

This feature can be accessed via Bulk Operations > Operations Tracking Tab > Operations Tracking Table.
